The Group Leaders Gathering was held twice in 2018. It was held in April-May and October November. The purpose of the GL Gathering was to stregthen Pagasa’s relations with its members through the Group Leaders, serve as the avenue to discuss borrowers concerns and issues in relation to Pagasa’s programs and services, and train the Group Leaders on strengthening group solidarity and leadership.
It was also a time for the Group Leaders to share their experiences in their group and the strategies they use to ensure effective group management and efficient collection.
Hundreds of group leaders from Pagasa branches attended the Gathering. Members of the executive committee and heads of support units in the Head Office, and Division management and staff also attended the Gathering to listen to the concerns raised and share updates on Pagasa’s policies, programs and services. The group leaders were happy to be able to attend the program as they received certificate of participation and umbrella’s courtesy of PPMBAI after the gathering.
